I think spending time outdoors is a perfect date. But keep up your cardio so you won’t slow anyone down! One of the perks of being fit is that people want to include you in their physical activities. They’ll invite you hiking, camping, running, play sports, etc. You remember in high school when you felt cool if athletic guys would pick you to be part of their PE team? I don’t. lol.
This caption is bad. BUT the jist is that keep training and getting stronger so you can go out with people and have a great time! Also, look how cute the college couple I met camping are?!! <333
Blown out of Death Valley by 60 mph winds, tent flattened…heading home early and driving through the night. Tonight was supposed to be our relaxing, star gazing night too =\
It’s about hiking! I love hiking…but don’t do it alone starting at 6pm because of mountain lions. I got kind of nervous today after reaching the top of hill that I just sprinted down praying that I would get to the parking lot safely.
Guy Fleming Trail at Torrey Pines State Park. I just moved to a new place and was so excited to check out the surrounding area! What better way to explore, than to go running outdoors?
I run with my iPhone and pause my Nike iPod to take pictures!
Today I ran a total of 7.36 miles! (My goal was 5 miles) Now I’m super hungry, but will stay calm and make something healthy!
Breakfast:
Have a Happy Healthy Fourth!
Morning work out: ~ 1 hr cross country running
Looking forward to this run everyday! I always have epiphanies about how amazing my life is while I’m running.

I’m home for a week, and I always take advantage of running in this park near my house.
Now time for a healthy, mindful breakfast =)
Get out and get going!

PS. Happy father’s day! Today I made my dad steel cut oats for breakfast and got him an elipitcal trainer to stay fit.
I ran 4 killer hills today.
Hill repeats are a great way to build muscle. It’s okay to not sprint up the hills, just as long as you feel your muscles burn and you can feel yourself breathing heavier.
