Just lovely, Laura!
When friends and I decided to get healthy nearly 2 months ago, I was actually excited to learn new recipes and find good, wholesome snacks. I quickly found Greek yogurt and just recently fell in love with it’s quirky Icelandic cousin skyr! What first caught my eye was the nutrition facts-14 g of protein in just a 5.3 oz cup?! And low calories and sugar content to boot? I was in. The cute packaging boasted info about the Siggi company’s ethics- milk from cows not treated with growth hormones, no artificial coloring, and to quote the label, “I would like to add that we absolutely do not use any artificial sweeteners like aspartame; I shudder at the mere thought.” I love it, just love it.
If your mouth is already salivating and don’t know which flavor to get your hands on first, may I recommend the plain version with a bit of honey, some fruit, or the flavored ones just on their own.
Beware: once you try Siggi’s, you’ll never want to go back to other yogurt.
A little pricey, but this yogurt not only tastes good, but is made of the good stuff as well.
Siggi’s is possibly the best edible creation ever to grace this earth. @_@
lawaeest The most delicious yogurt you will ever eat.
I think you can get these at Giant for about as much as a regular greek.
If you follow my blog on a normal basis, you know that I live for this stuff. I never eat any other yogurt! LOVE LOVE...
Just lovely, Laura!
